摘要
The problem of determining the characteristics of the vortex wake behind aircraft from the moment of its formation to the moment of destruction is considered. The problem is divided into several related subproblems such as flow near an aircraft, vortex-wake evolution and diffusion, and instability and increasing perturbations in the wake. The results of theoretical and computational studies are compared with the experimental data available from publications. The characteristics of vortex wakes are calculated for specific aircraft.
