摘要
Faced with the need to promote the use of effective tools to favor the integral development of childhood, the research raised the question of how sociocultural animation allows strengthening social skills in children with a vulnerable social environment? Bearing in mind that play and recreational activities play a key role in the socialization process, through a sociocultural animation program focused on action research, 18 children participated in 14 workshops aimed at managing leisure and strengthening the development of skills socials. Theatre, puppets, painting, dance, and tours were the privileged activities that made up the "Por arte del barrio" program where they developed artistic content that allowed them to recognize themselves, socialize and occupy their free time outside the school context. Sociocultural Animation is a strategy that allows the recognition of environmental problems and strengthen skills that position them as agents of change.
