摘要
This paper presents a microwave sensor designed for grain moisture-content measurement using surface wave transmission line technology. The sensor utilizes a microstrip line structure to excite a surface wave, which propagates along the grain surface. The dielectric properties of the grain are affected by its moisture content, and this change in dielectric constant is used to calculate the moisture content. The sensor was tested with wheat sample and was found to have a high accuracy and precision in measuring moisture content. The design of the sensor is compact and easy to use, making it suitable for use in various grain storage and processing facilities.
