摘要
Experimental measurements of gamma-ray spectra emitted by a highly enriched uranium sample were performed to improve an algorithm for calculating the enrichment and age. Specifically, passive, non-destructive gammaray spectrometry based on a relative efficiency calibration was utilized to determine these key uranium attributes. Comparisons were made with results from the commercial code PC/FRAM and reference values. A comprehensive discussion of the uncertainty and performance of this method is presented.
