摘要
The current situation in Ukraine shows that waiting for the war to end in a decisive victory is unrealistic. It is equally utopian to expect that the armed conflict will stop. Therefore, to end the suffering of Ukrainian civilians and decrease the economic effects, mediation starts to look like a reasonable option to proceed. Although some leaders declared they were up for the task, the negotiations will take a lot of work to maintain between Ukraine and Russia. In this context, this short paper will look into who will be the mediator and what they can do.
