Stabilization of the political system and internal fracture of the parties. Political and legislative chronicle of the year 2022

This chronicle explains, first of all, the stabilization of the political system, which has recomposed the parties's plurality into two options, led by the PSOE and the Popular Party. Paradoxically, this stabilization has been accompanied by the internal fracture of most of the parties and the difficulty to reaching broad agree-ments, which has especially affected the General Council of the Judiciary and the Constitutional Court. In this context, the government has been able to develop its program. This paper highlights measures of constitutional relevance related to audiovisual communication, equality, democratic memory, equality and penal reforms directly linked to Catalonia. The paper also recall the measures intended to respond to the problems caused by inflation.
