Polythermal Solubility of the MgSO4-Na2SO4-H2O System

摘要
The solubility of the MgSO4-Na2SO4-H2O ternary system was determined in the temperature range from -5.2 to 116.5 degrees C by the visual polythermal method. Based on binary systems and internal incisions of the components of the system under study, its polythermal diagram is constructed. The crystallization fields of ice, Na2SO4 center dot 10H(2)O, Na2SO4, MgSO4 center dot 12H(2)O, MgSO4 center dot 7H(2)O, MgSO4 center dot 6H(2)O, MgSO4 center dot H2O, 3Na(2)SO(4)center dot MgSO4, Na2SO4 center dot MgSO4 center dot 2.5H(2)O and Na2SO4 center dot MgSO4 center dot 4H(2)O are delimited on the phase diagram of the MgSO4-Na2SO4-H2O system. The results of the study show that the system under study belongs to the complex-eutonic type and there is an interaction between its components.
