摘要
Alexithymia is an important transdiagnostic risk factor for emotional disorders, which may be because alexithymia impairs emotion regulation. We examined the links between alexithymia and emotion regulation. Our results support the view that alexithymia is associated with impaired emotion regulation. In particular, people with high alexithymia seem to use a less adaptive profile of emotion regulation strategies.
