摘要
Hydrides of magnesium composites with additives of TiFe intermetalide and Ti3Fe3O suboxide was synthesized by mechanical milling in hydrogen. The rate of mechanochemical hydrogenation of magnesium in the presence of these additives doubles, and the temperature of hydrogen desorption decreases by 100 & mldr;150 degrees C. With the addition of graphite, the particle size of the composites decreases, and the rate of formation of magnesium hydride during milling and in subsequent cycles of hydrogen sorption-desorption increases. The properties of composites, depending on different initial particle sizes and magnesium purity, were investigated. Composites based on magnesium chips were synthesized using a simplified method.
