摘要
At the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th, Brazil depended entirely on the import of wheat and flour to supply its domestic market. Argentina becomes the main supplier of these products. As Brazil also imported flour from the USA, at times customs tariffs were granted that benefited the entry of North American flour into the Brazilian market. This article presents the discussions that took place, mainly in the press, around this issue, giving rise to a "flour war"
