摘要:
Extant scorpions of the small family Chaerilidae are very sparse, and they are poorly documented in the fossil record. Here we describe two immature chaerilids from mid-Cretaceous amber of northern Myanmar based on multiple imaging methods. Our specimens can be unambiguously assigned to Chaerilus in family Chaerilidae based on their complete type B trichobothrial pattern, very broad anterior margin of maxillary lobes I, serrated ventral denticle of cheliceral movable finger, presence of pectinal fulcra, and spiniform setae on the ventral surface of tarsi.(c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd.
