摘要：

In view of the upcoming new critical edition of the Motti e facezie del Piovano Arlotto, the article provides an analysis of the manuscript discovered by Giorgio Petrocchi in 1964 and thus not considered in Gianfranco Folena's previous critical edition. The manuscript is discussed from a linguistic point of view and in its relationship with the other witnesses of the text; the comparison between the variants highlights the 'evolving' nature of the sylloge, which - based on an initial nucleus - was already subject to change in the early years of its circulation.
