摘要
In adolescence, love relationships become more important, becoming a space for the satisfaction of different physiological, psychological and social needs. Once sexual activity begins, there is sometimes a mismatch between proper and responsible use of contraception and sexual intercourse. Wrong beliefs about sexuality, little information and lack of trust in the partner can trigger a pregnancy at this stage of life. For these reasons, teenagers constitute a priority population for reproductive health at a global level, due to the characteristics that place them in a position of vulnerability.Pregnancy in adolescence entered the agenda as a challenge that impacts the Health System, the conditions of the family and the adolescent's own development. The Center for Demographic Studies of Cuba together with the Faculty of Psychology of the Havana University have developed workshops, with the aim of providing information to adolescents on sexual and reproductive health, making the problem of adolescent pregnancy in Cuba visible and raising awareness among them about the consequences of this in the different areas of life, as well as promoting safer ways of having sexual relations. The workshops have been held in Havana municipalities such as Boyeros and Diez de Octubre with Junior High School students. The intervention carried out made it possible to verify that adolescents are unaware of a great deal of information about safe sexual practices; and in turn on sexual education, sexual and reproductive rights. For this reason, it was decided to create a communicative product of interest to this population group, where content of interest to them on the subject is shown in an attractive way. Promoting responsible sexual practices in adolescents in these times continues to be a priority task in the construction of our society.
