摘要
l he emergence of new digital achnologie. has transfonied enuepreneti shira and, very likely, enabled many ncw md established ventures to avoid banIcruptcy duoughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Digital technologies are key to idendfying evaluating and exploiting opport iota nities, scaling a venture s cornpetitiveness, improving efficiency and innovating, especially during uncertain times. We explore how digital technologies reinvented entrepreneurial resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic and distill the digital artifacts, platfonns and infrastructtues used by entreprenetus to dernonstrate entreprenetnial resilience. We analyzed 42 reflective interviews feattuing successful enn'eprenems from How I Enih This "Resilience Series" podcast that explore how entrepreneurs responded to the COVID-19 crisis. We adopted a systematic approach to identify and describe the behaviors, actions and suategies related to digitalization to reinvent the business in the tmcertain and resource-constrained context of COVID-19. The data analysis yielded [hit-men first-order codes categorized into five second-order thernes: creative digital pivoting, digital infrastructures, social impact throttgh digital technology, bttrdens to digital adoption, and growth through digitalization. These second-order themes reveal to function as both enablers and banlers to entremenemial resilience in this adverse context. Our explmatory analysis suggests how digitalization influences entreprenetuial resilience.
