摘要
Herein, the synthesis, structural, and spectroscopic study of porous CeO2 nanoparticles is presented. The calcination temperature can tune the particle size and defect structure. The characteristic normal vibration modes were analyzed as a function of the nanoparticle size and pore concentration through Raman spectroscopy. Two different excitation sources were used, 532 nm (2.33 eV) and 780 nm (1.58 eV), to observe the resonance phenomenon of the optical phonon (LO) and its 2LO, 3LO, and 4 LO overtones, as well as their trends depending on nanoparticle size. This resonance phenomenon is attributed to an electron-phonon Fro center dot hlich interaction. X-ray diffraction and atomic-resolution transmission electron microscopy were performed to study the crystalline and defect structure of the produced particles. Micro and mesoporous were observed by HAADF and ABF imaging, determining the lattice strain present in the samples, which is related to the presence of oxygen vacancies.
