摘要
The topic of individual creativity and innovation is important in today's world because companies and organizations strive for development in every possible way. Despite such demand for creativity and innovation, one definition does not exist for either creativity nor innovation that is commonly accepted among academics or people that work in the industry. This systematic literature review attempted to close this gap by looking at literature from different disciplines related to neuropsychology and management to highlight the literature conceptualizing individual creativity and innovation and delineating the constructs themselves. Apart from that, the factors that underlie individual creativity and innovation are unknown and when research has attempted to investigate these concepts, it has focused on the constructs from a singular viewpoint, which does not provide a full framework for such multifaceted concepts. To address this second gap in the literature, this review attempted to identify individual behavioral and cognitive factors embedded within creativity and innovation processes.
