Features of the behavior of quantum fields in media with a negative refractive index as well as waves with negative energy

摘要：
In this paper, waves in media with both negative electrical and magnetic permeability and waves of negative energy have been considered together. All conditions have been established under which the propagation of such waves in the corresponding media is possible, taking into account the requirement of the quanta energy positivity. For each of these conditions the direction of the Poynting vector has been established.
