摘要
This article analyses the impact on the political position of South Korean youth due to media manipulation in favour of Park Geun Hye's 2012 presidential election campaign by the Korean National Intelligence Service (NIS) in relation to the Choi-gate case and the sinking of MV Sewol. For this purpose, we conducted a survey of young Koreans and interviewed experts in South Korean culture, society, and politics. The results confirm (i) the influence of these events on the political disaffection of South Korea's youth and (ii) the existence of significant differences between university and non-university students.
