摘要：
Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is an opportunistic infection commonly encountered in various systems of the human body and has been noted to be a rare cause of osteomyelitis. This report examines a rare case of oste-omyelitis of the foot caused by S. maltophilia from a poorly managed foot wound and highlights the successful treatment of this condition with trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole monotherapy.
