摘要
This article explores the importance of sustainable sediment management in reservoirs to address the growing issue of sedi- mentation. Conventional methods, such as dredging and flush- ing, have proven inadequate, leading to sediment deficits and environmental hazards. To overcome these challenges, the ConSedTrans technology with the innovative SediMover plat- form is introduced. This approach enables controlled sediment transport, ensuring the sediment deficit is restored down- stream while safeguarding the river ecology. A successful pilot project in Italy demonstrated the feasibility and effectiveness of ConSedTrans, providing valuable insights for further advance- ments in sustainable sediment removal techniques.
