摘要
As the final link in an integrated energy system of the future, the Home Energy Management System (HEMS) plays a crucial role in enabling homeowners to intelligently and conveniently manage the usage of their household appliances, renewable energy generation (RES), energy storage systems (ESS), and electric vehicles (EVs). In this article, we propose a holistic model that prioritizes user preferences when scheduling the usage of various physical devices with different characteristics. Additionally, we present a charging and discharging strategy specifically designed for ESS and EVs, taking into account their capital costs, in order to seamlessly integrate them into the HEMS framework. This integration provides increased flexibility, economic advantages, and prolonged battery life. By utilizing Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) and the proposed model, we can obtain an optimized energy schedule for the smart home, ensuring both the lowest cost and user comfort. To demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach, we present an illustrative case study.
