摘要：

By the term“general circulation”is generally meant the behaviour ofthe mean quasi-steady state of the atmosphere;but by it is also meant theprocess of variations of the broad-scale teatures of the flow patterns fora certain given period.Actually these two features are just two aspects ofthe same problem and are connected each to the other as an integral whole.
