摘要：

Students' motivation in learning English is analyzed.To save others' faces has become one of the general principles for people to follow in their communication.Face-wants concept also brings some negative effect to students' English study.Some English teaching strategies are explored by analyzing the negative effect of the face-wants concept in English teaching.
