<正> Two cases of spastic colitis were treated with ephedrine withapparent success.Attention is called to the significance of the"string sign",and the results of serial roentgenologic studies made onthe two cases both before and after the administration of ephedrineare presented.The antispasmodic action of ephedrine on the spasticcolon seems to be well demonstrated in human cases.
