摘要
Pride and Prejudice, as the most popular of Jane Austen’s novels, has a significant position in western literature. Thenovel portrays lives of several ladies, especially their marriage, which reflects the author’s introspection of women’s situation inthe late 18thcentury when the feminism was sprouting up across the Europe. The thesis explores Pride and Prejudice from the per-spective of feminism to embody an unique feminist ideology wherein, revealing the inferior female status, female morality andthoughts of marriage.
