C(Buckminsterfullerene) is now one of the most notable carbon clusters. Recently Wennerstrm treated Cwith an aqueous solution of γ-CD (γ-cyclodextrin) under reflux and obtained a water-soluble γ-CD-Cinclusion complex. But its composition was not reported. As a cyclodextrin derivative with high solubility in water, DMβCD (heptakis-(2, 6-di-o-methyl)-’β-cyclodextrin) has a cavity with similar dimension to γ-CD and the
