We had already produced androgenetic haploid of Xenopus laevis in previous expriments, but could not obtain the complete metamorphosis. So far it has not been known that in anuran amphibia, fertilized egg with only paternal genetic material can be developed into adult. Through the use of hydrostatic pressure we have got diploid androgenetic adults of Xenopus laevis.The following is a brief account of our expriments.
