摘要
The profile and excitation mechanism of vacuum-ultraviolet radiation emitted fromshock wave is investigated in a shock tube.For shock wave in argon,the rdiation is due to resonanttransition excited by argon-argon collision in the shock front with excitation cross section coefficientS;=1.0×10;cm;ev;and activation energy E;=11.4ev.For shock wave in air the radition isemitted from a very thin shock laver in which the mechanism of X;Σ→b;Σ of N;is excited withexcitation cross section Q=2×10;cm;and activation energy E;=12.1 ev.
