On July 10,2013,Ministry of Transport announced that the project of upward extention construction of12.5 meters deep-water fairway at Yangtze River Estuary(Yangtze River Estuary Phase 3 Fairway to Taicang)was officially opened to traffic.The12.5 meters deep-water fairway extends upward to Taicang,which marks the age of two-way shipping for the fourth generation of container vessels and ships of 50,000 d.w.t.for all tides.The
