Banded structure of thermotropic liquid crystalline polymers has been widely characterized under light and electron microscopy. It occurs in oriented films of most liquid crystalline polyesters. The structure of specific orientation state on nematic phase is considered to he related to the high strength and high modulus of products. This note focuses on
