A novel eleven-membered heterocyclic compound with high nitrogen has been isolatedtyom the marine alga Sargussum vachell collected from the South China Sea. Its structure has beenestablished by verity of spectroscopic techniques such as IR. EIMS. 1D NMR. HMQC. HNBC.
