摘要：

In the preceding paper we reported mevalonic acid lactone（MVA）as a primary precur-sor in the in vivo biosynthesis of arteannuic acid（1）in Qinghao plant.The present com-munication deals with 1 as a precursor in the biosynthesis of both arteannuin（2）and artean-nuin B（3）in a Qinghao homogenate system.
