Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the U.S.Environmental Protection Agency,the 1st China- US Workshop on Environmental S&T Cooperation was held in Beijing from April 1 to 3,2008.China-US Workshop on Environmental S&T Cooperation lasted for three days and included keynote speech,parallel discussion and visit to key laboratory.Experts from both countries gave introductions to national environmental S&T policies and R&D efforts,and held in-depth discussions on drinking water security,new technologies and environmental technology verification (ETV) and green
