This may be described as another text-book on diseases of the skin. Thefield is covered in much the same way as in other books of its kind. Apparentlythere has been no attempt to bring the material up to date. Significant con-tributions to the knowledge of certain diseases made during the past five yearsare not touched upon. The directions for the treatment of disease are short butadequate. Unfortunately, proprietary names of drugs are frequently used. Thebook is not illustrated. There is a list of authors but no bibliographical re-ferences. C.N.F.
