IN 1984, Gehring and Scoff discovered homeobox genes respectively and confirmed that the homeobox genes were the control genes of the constructure genes in biological development, which was a breakthrough in molecular development biology. It is important for embryo development and evolution to further study the homeobox genes, including gene mapping.
