摘要：

The SFG deals mainly with the study of language in context. Two texts on the same topic in different genres are chosen and they are analyzed from the dimensions of Field (What is the text about?),Tenor (What is the reader-writer relationship?) and Mode (What is the medium of communication,and how is the message organized?),which relate to Ideational,Interpersonal and Textual Metafuntions of language respectively.
