摘要
Vapor-liquid equilibrium of the system of 4-methyl-2-pentanol and water is determined at 0.1013 MPa with a modified circulation still within the temperature range from 367.52 to 404.53 K (94.37 to 131.38~C). Liquid-liquid equilibrium is determined for the same system by the closed-tube method in the same temperature range.The NRTL parameters determined by fitting the liquid-liquid equilibrium data are used to cal- culate vapor-liquid equilibrium with mean deviations of temperature and of vapor composition of 0.61 K and 0.0131 mole fraction respectively.
