Cultivation of Cross-cultural Awareness in College English Translation Teaching

With my country' s entry into the WTO,transnational communication has become more frequent.However,the lack of cross-cultural awareness in cross-cultural communication will cause communication barriers.Therefore,in the translation teaching of college English,attention should be paid to cultivating students' cross-cultural awareness and enhancing their ability in cross-cultural communication.Based on this,this article explains the significance of cross-cultural awareness to college English translation teaching,and analyzes the problems existing in the process of college English translation teaching,and finally proposes ways and strategies to cultivate cross-cultural awareness in college English translation teaching.Provide some reference value for workers in this field.
