PREPARATION OF POLYVINYLAMINE RESIN AND ITS APPLICATION IN RESOLUTION OF DL-AMINO ACID

摘要
The preparation of linear polyvinylamine from acrylamide has been published in literature. However, the preparation of crosslinked polyvinylamine from crosslinked polyacrylamide by Hofmann degradation so far has not been reported. Our aim is to make crosslinked polyvinylamine for the resolution of DL-amino adds. The procedure is to graft L-proline on the polyamine and then complex it with Cu(Ⅱ). This asymmetric resin is used as a support for the resolution of DL-amino acids with column chromatographic method.
