Age effect in second language acquisition has been a key question for a long time. It mainly focuses on the discussionabout the critical period. The thesis first introduces import hypothesis and opinions in this area and then analyzes the effects thatage has in morphosyntax area in detail. Thirdly, the analysis of Patkowski's study and Abrahamsson's study are made. Finally, itpoints out the enlightments and suggestions that the literature implies.
