More than 10 species of pathogenic fungi were isolated fromthe naturally infected leaves of barnyard grass(Echinochloa crus-galli) in paddy. After preliminarybioassaying, it was found that the Alternaria alternata(Fr.) keissler(AA), Exserohilum monoceras ( EM) , and"99-10" were three potential agents for biological control ofbarnyard grass.
