PREMIXED FLAME AND DISTORTION OF HOMOGENEOUS ISOTROPIC TURBULENCE

摘要
A new concept of the length scale characterizing the thickness of a chemical reaction zone is introduced. A new formula of propagation velocity for the turbulent flame is obtained. Then the relation of the thickness of flame zone increasingw ith the ratio τ of the heat release to the initial heat content is derived. Besides, a new velocity-pressure correlation is presented, and the mechanism of the increase in the turbulence energy in the zone of premixed turbulent flame is clarified. This draws an interest conclusion on the distortion of homogeneous isotropic turbulence.
