摘要：

<正> Osteoarthritis of the knee joint is one ofthe common diseases seen in the orthopedicclinic. The lesion is degenerative in nature,occurring mostly in people over 40 years ofage. The disease runs a slowly progressivecourse, and the patient usually has a historyof chronic strain of the joint. In traditionalChinese medicine, the condition falls intothe Bi syndrome (rheumatic pain) and isconsidered to be due to deficiency of yin ofthe kidney and the liver, stagnation of qicausing blood stasis, and a superimposedinvasion of wind, cold, and dampness. In re-cent years, the authors used traditionalChinese medicine for oral administration
