On April 10,2007,Prof.Wang Jie,Vice President of NSFC, met with the delegation from International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT),headed by its Chair of Board of Trustees Prof.Lene Lange and the Director General Prof.Masa Iwanaga. NSFC and CIMMYT renewed the agreement in 2006,and on January 22,2007,both sides had identified the priority areas and agreed to jointly fund six projects for China during the next three years.During the meet-
