摘要
A remote sensing image compression method for wavelet transformation(WT) + vector quantization (VQ) used in the virtual remote sensing image processingis presented, with its Performances and simulation results given. The experimental results showed that this remote sensing compression method outperforms that of jointprotype encoding group.
