<正> Gallic acid is one of the components of the Chinese herbal drug Radix paeoniae frequently used for promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis. It has been reported that Radix paeoniae shows the effect of inhibiting aggregation of blood platelets and promoting thrombus lysis, and propyl gallate and isobutyl gallate show a similar effect.
