Recycling of Scrap Rubber

<正> China lacks rubber resources so more than 70% of natural rubber must be imported from abroad.Reclaimed rubber and rubber powder produced with scrap rubber as raw material have considerable potential for use as substitutes for raw materials in the rubber industry and already hold a certain market share.With the sustained development of the rubber industry,the development of comprehensive utilization of scrap rubber (including scrap tires) is booming in China.More than 1000 enterprises are engaged,with a total production capacity is more than 3.00 million t/a.According to incomplete statistics,the output of reclaimed rubber and rubber powder in China had already reached around 2.45 million tons in 2007,including 2.20 million tons of reclaimed rubber and 250 000 tons of rubber powder.
