摘要：

Irony rhetoric is a cultural phenomenon,which has occupied a long period in human civilization history.Literary works are the best to analyze irony.Successful irony helps reflect its rhetorical aims in an implicitly and yet powerful way.Jane Austen use irony fluently and skillfully in her novels to portray characters,set plots,realize theme and reflect life and society.
