High Concentration WastewaterTreatment for Fertilizer IndustryThe Energy Research Institute of Hebei Academy of Sciencesrecently developed a new wastewater treatment and reutilizationprocess especially for reclamation of high-concentration waste-water generated in reverse osmosis system of fertilizer manu-facturing plants. The technology can easily recycle from thereverse osmosis system the high-hardness water with salt con-tent four times as the influent, and the recycle rate can reachabove 80%, thus significantly promoting the reutilization ofwastewater from fertilizer companies.In current fertilizer production, wastewater with a total hard-
