hese days,non-coding RNAs(nc RNAs)including small RNAs and long nc RNAs(lnc RNAs)are among the hotest topics in biology.Various types of nc RNAs and their functions have been discovered:rom the well-understood t RNAs,r RNAs and mi RNAs to the relatively less known pi RNAs and lnc RNAs.As more and more mysteries about nc RNAs are resolved,scientists look toward new methodologies and technologies to further explore the nc RNA wonderland.Haifan Lin and Yijun Qi,two renowned biologists based in the USA and China,
